Hello, I’m Joanna. I write for Arcadian Lighting, an online source for brilliant lighting fixtures in all styles. I am excited to be guest posting on the Etons of Bath blog on Georgian lighting design and styles. I’d like to thank Sarah for letting me share some of my favorite Georgian style rooms with you today.
The period style woodwork in a limed-oak finish along with the painted blue ceiling is the work of design Jonathan Berger. The room has a lovely mix of period furnishings and modern pieces coupled with Georgian lighting design and styles.
A Georgian-classic entry hall features black and white marble floors and custom paneled walls. The design is symmetrically pleasing and enhances Georgian lighting design and styles
This lovely 1930s Georgian-style room was designed by legendary design Mario Butta. It boasts cheery yellow on the walls as well as on a few key pieces, along with coral on others. Note the subtle Georgian lighting design and styles
This dining room offers a nice mix of Georgian-style furniture and modern art work. The subtle neutral of the walls and rug allows the artwork to take center stage.
The waterfall light fixture provided the inspiration for this Toronto Regency-style dining room. The oval ceiling molding and oval table were both added to accentuate the Georgian lighting design and styles
Period features are paired with modern accents in this Georgian dining room. A traditional marble fireplace is set off by a modern work of art. Such a pretty place to gather for a meal with family and friends and lit well Georgian lighting design and styles!
This cutting room, situated in a rounded corner offers a pleasant place to pot plants and arrange flowers. Beadboard covers the ceiling and decorates the walls. The stone floors and dark cabinetry contrast nicely with the soft green and white in the space.
A London Georgian townhouse features this bedroom with a minimalist decor. The lighting fixture is original to the house. The panel at the back of the bed was commissioned out of maple.
